QUALITY SYSTEMS
The main objective of Jamcal Alimentación, S.A.
is to solve the needs of our customers. Because of that, we
offer the best service and supply products, for its finish,
quality and price, differentiates us from our competition. Jamcal
Alimentación, S.A. has implemented a Quality Management
System according UNE-EN ISO 9001.
According to current legislation, we have implemented a system
of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) in order
to prevent or minimize contamination risks associated with our
activities.

Since 2001, we have a comprehensive system
of traceability assurance by which we can determine the
origin of the pigs, checks, registration number and batch. |
It is a system that guarantees safety in
batches. It is based on the Information System ® developed
by OBT (Open Business Technologies). The operation is as
follows:
Raw materials arrive at receiving, and we carry out an inspection
(temperature, quality, hygiene, etc.). We check against
the invoice of the goods to the order. |

Once
given the Ok (satisfactory inspection), we enter all the data
available in the system (trade name, units, weight, supplier,
arrival, departure to which they belong, records of the inspection,
etc.).. This information is stored in the database.
In the process Jamcal Alimentación, S.A., identifies
each ham individually in the production system, putting a seal
to each ham or shoulder (with a unique number containing all
the above information).
The identification seal bears the information on the supplier,
the date, weight, batch, etc.. and all information which the
company considers appropriate.
At any phase of of the production process, the company can identify,
like an identity card, the origin and nature of any ham or shoulder.
Also this product tracking can be done at the point of sale.
We work with the best suppliers in Spain and abroad. All of
our customers and suppliers have, without exception, the highest
quality systems.
